Celebrating our 1st Anniversary with Erbil
|
|
On September 9, we officially celebrated one year of partnership with our newest sister city Erbil, which is the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan. This important partnership highlights the close relationship Nashville has with the Kurdish people, who have called our city home for decades! Our two communities were unable to celebrate in person, but we were able to connect through Zoom to re-emphasize our commitment to this relationship! We look forward to several different projects this year including legal and medical exchanges and home hospitality nights with our Kurdish friends! |
