Sister Cities of Nashville Celebrates a World of Friendship

Sister Cities of Nashville Celebrates a World of Friendship...an event bringing Nashvillians together to celebrate the diversity that makes up our community and our world.  Proceeds from the event will benefit Sister Cities of Nashville outreach programs which include educational, cultural, professional and civic exchanges with Nashville's current and prospective sister cities.  Proceeds will also provide scholarships for students in need of financial aid to participate in educational exchanges abroad.  Come join us!

Time: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. (Silent Auction closes at 7:30 p.m.)

Location:  One Eleven, 111 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37201

Free event parking available at the Pinnacle Building (1/2 block away).

You may also pay by check (payable to Sister Cities of Nashville) and mail to Sister Cities of Nashville, P.O. Box 120555, Nashville, TN 37212.  Please write SCN Celebrates in memo line with number of tickets requested.  If you prefer to give your credit card information over the phone only, please contact Executive Director Heather Cunningham at 708-0484.
 

Tickets:  Includes appetizers, an international buffet dinner, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages; live music; and a silent auction with international flavor.  Event sponsors will be mailed tickets.  Individual tickets will be held at the door.  No individual tickets will be mailed.

Food & Beverage partners participating include:  Eastland Cafe, Gerst Haus, Ichiban Japanese Restaurant, Park Cafe, P.F. Chang's,  Provence, The Wine Chap, Jim and Dan Maddox, owners of M.E. Wine & Liquors, and Yazoo Brewing Company.  Additionally, a wine tasting featuring wines from our sister city countries will be sponsored by Grace's Wine & Spirits.

Entertainment:  Consul General of Japan Hiroshi Sato's band, "Beauty and the Beast" will perform along with other local favorites!

Silent auction items include: a trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland; as well as getaways to a ski condo in Park City, Utah; the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago, IL and local "staycation" packages to the Hutton Hotel, the Inn at Evins Mill, Loew's Vanderbilt Plaza and more! Gift certificates to restaurants, spas, and cultural activities in town plus foreign language lessons at TFLI, event space at One Eleven, cooking classes, wine, and gift items are also attractions in the silent auction!
